ENJOY A MEXDITERRANEAN EXPERIENCE

Mextizo represents the dream of bringing together the best of both here and there. Talent, joy, warmth, quality, friendliness, fantasy (…).

The concept of a Mexditerranean cuisine is the combination of the traditional, Getaria-style barbecue, the best rice from my home-region, and Mexican starters that have captivated me over the last years I have lived in this incredible country which is Mexico.

The concept of a Mexditerranean cuisine is the combination of the traditional, Getaria-style barbecue, the best rice from my home-region, and Mexican starters that have captivated me over the last years I have lived in this incredible country which is Mexico.

Our dishes are all made with local produce, brought from local farms and fish markets that provide us their best every season. Our way of cooking and the selected ingredients we use in our restaurant are present in both the Mediterranean and the Mexican diet: Vegetables and legumes, rice, fish, olive oil (…).

We would like to offer you the experience of moving between three different places in one single meal: from the hot grills from the Kaia-Kaipe restaurant in Getaria to a paella by the beach in Castellón and a taco de cochinita from El Turix in Polanco.

This is our only aspiration: that your meal is tasteful and that you are served with the kindness and attention that may seem to be rare these days. Above all, we are a restaurant, and as such we would like to keep you wanting to come back every time you pay us a visit.

The Capella García Arquitectura studio has made this space a unique restaurant in the city, with Juli Capella as its leader.

The Mexican Cuisine and the Mediterranean diet are both considered Intangible Cultural Heritages of Humanity so, can you imagine trying both at the same time?

Eat well, live despacito
